The Football Association of Iceland sent a message to support Nigeria’s number 1, Carl Ikeme on Sunday in a tweet by forward Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, a former teammate of Ikeme at Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Super Eagles are gearing up to face Iceland on Friday, June 22nd at the Volgograd Arena at 4pm in a very crucial match that will determine the fate of Nigeria in the World Cup. Iceland already proved their wit against two time World Champions Argentina in Saturday’s Group D clash which ended 1-1 and it is very clear that the Super Eagles already have their work cut out for them.

Super Eagles Hold Second World Cup Press Conference

The Super Eagles are all set to hold a second team press conference of the 2018 World at their at Essentuki Training Site on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 4.30pm. This was confirmed on the Super Eagles’ verified Twitter handle on Tuesday. Prior to the training session which will be open for the first 15 minutes, a press conference to preview the game will also be held on Wednesday.
