Aishat Oshoala was on Thursday appointed as the new Lagos State Ambassador. The Super Falcons forward was reported by Complete Sports Nigeria.com to have been appointed as an ambassador for the state by the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode. Oshoala who is a professional footballer, also plays for the Chinese side Dalian Quanjian FC, after reportedly leaving Arsenal Ladies in England.  Born in 1994, this young woman is known for her successful career in football, as she had earlier also won BBC’s Women Footballer of the Year Award in 2015. The Governor praised the Super Falcons striker, as he declared that he was proud of her achievements at a town hall meeting held on Thursday in the state.
