By David Stephen. The Gubernatorial election in Ondo State is around the corner, and the race is heating up. The top candidates are exchanging barbs, as the sitting Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, runs to return to office with Labour Party. Former President of Nigerian Bar Association, Rotimi Akeredolu, is running on the platform of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), while the flag bearer for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is Chief Olusola Oke. The Nigeria Elections Debate Group (NEDG) is putting a debate together for the gubernatorial candidates and their deputies to be aired, live, on the internet. The debate kicked off on September 25th, with the deputies squaring off, and it will end on October 11th from 5pm, with the gubernatorial candidates. It can be seen on www.naijaliveevents.com
