  The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), in collaboration with Seplat Energy, is offering scholarships to Nigerian undergraduates studying in the country’s tertiary institutions, who meet specific criteria. The program will provide financial support to students who demonstrate scholarly capacity in their pursuit of higher education.

Students studying one of these courses are invited to apply: Accountancy, Agriculture, Architecture, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Economics, Environmental Studies, Geology, Geophysics, Law, Mass Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Medicine/Dentistry, Metallurgical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering.

Benefits

The NNPC/Seplat scholarship covers the cost of tuition for students selected for it.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to persons who meet these criteria:
  • Be in their second year of study in university or above
  • Possess at least 5 O’ Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics, obtained in one sitting
  • Maintain a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a 5-point scale
  • Must be pursuing courses accredited for the scholarship
