The Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Gu Xiaojie, has expressed support for the plan by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to convert more of the country’s 39 billion dollar foreign reserve to Yuan. Speaking at a Forum on Wednesday in Abuja, Xiaojie described the plan as “ a very encouraging development’’. He said it demonstrated the “closeness’’ between both countries, which currently have an annual bilateral trade volume of 13 billion dollars.

Oando Plc has declared a dividend of N2.4 billion for its shareholders for the financial year ended December 31, 2014. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oando, Oba Michael Gbadebo said “ The dividend represents a 30 kobo per share for the 2013 financial year and and also an interim of 70 kobo per share for the six months ended June 30, 2014, which amounted to N2.4 billion at N1 per share.

The Director-General SMEDAN, Bature Masari who spoke during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SMEDAN and NSE in Abuja, said the two organisations will work towards providing data on potential entrepreneurs.
