Head coach of the Nigerian national team, Gernot Rohr, has stated that he will field a strong team against the Selecao of Brazil when both sides lock horns on October 13, 2019 in Singapore for an international friendly football match.
Rohr, who led the Eagles to a third place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, has hinted that the match between the three-time African champions and the five-time world champions is no avenue for experimenting.

Brazil have invited their best players to tackle us and we cannot afford to toy with our list of players. I have submitted the list of players I think will give a good game to the South Americans. NFF should release the list soon.

The new-look Super Eagles team without the likes of retired John Obi Mikel and Odion Ighalo finished 2-2 with Ukraine on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the Dnipro Arena, Ukraine, in an international friendly match for the September international break and will be counting on the experiences of stars like team captain Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo, and a host of others to see them through against the South American side.
