  Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) Post-Primary Scholarship Scheme. As part of its commitment to social investment in education, Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) invites interested and qualified Basic Six public primary school pupils to apply for the 2024 POST PRIMARY SCHOLARSHIP AWARD. The scheme aims to provide support to high-performing Basic Six pupils throughout their secondary school education.

NLNG is dedicated to fostering an inclusive scholarship program and encourages applications from all qualified individuals, including Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs).

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be indigenes of any of the NLNG host communities in Rivers State.
  • Must currently be in Basic Six and attending a public primary school in Rivers State.
  • Should not be recipients of any other scholarship award, bursary, or grant from any other organization.
  • Must be under 12 years of age.
  • Should not have any familial relationship with staff members of Nigeria LNG Limited, including spouses, children, wards, or direct relations.

Award Criteria

  • Must be a Basic Six pupil in a public primary school in Rivers State.
  • Must possess a provisional admission offer from any of the NLNG partner schools listed below:

  1. a) Hallel College (Boarding) Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt
  2. b) Archdeacon Brown Secondary School Woji, Port Harcourt
  3. c) Christie Toby Education Center, Iriebe
  • Submission of Basic 4, Basic 5, and Basic Six result sheets.
  • An attestation letter duly stamped and signed by the Headmaster or Headmistress of the current school (including the contact telephone number of the headmaster/headmistress).
  • Submission of an indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC Chairman or Chief in the applicant’s community.
  • A letter of identification from the Local Government Council.
  • A recent passport-sized photograph without glasses (photo taken not earlier than January 2024).
  • Submission of a birth certificate issued by the Nigeria Population Commission (NPC).
