The Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN) has officially launched Alphabet Media Academy (AMA). The media academy is the first of its kind with the aim of producing a group of well-trained talents who will shape and disrupt the future of the media and marketing communications industry in Nigeria and across Africa. The media academy was unveiled in Lagos, on Tuesday, 27th February 2018, as disclosed by This Day Live, to newsmen, media advertising practitioners and other stakeholders. The academy, which is a project for the industry by the industry, was created due an inadequacy observed in the skill sets of the current middle management staff of media practitioners.

  • Providing Post Graduate Media Advertising & Management Training for new entrants approaching the media advertising profession and young executives already working in the industry
  • Training students who would like to improve their current employment
  • Training students to be ‘employable’, assisting them with job placement with prospective employers
  • Contributing to the ecosystem by providing a constant flow of trainees/students who are well-trained with hands-on practical experience.
