National Lightweight Heavyweight champion, Adewale Masebinu, says he hopes to one day wear the World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Organization (WBO) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) title belts.

“Masevex”, as he is fondly called, plans to first take on the challenge to win the World Boxing Council (WBC) title from whomever holds it, before he faces the world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, provided he is still the unified heavyweight champ.

In order to achieve his dream in no distant time, the Ikere-Ekiti born boxer has called on the government and stakeholders in the sport to provide him with a high-minded promoter/manager, who will help him book the big fights and climb up the world heavyweight ranks quickly.

I urge the government, companies and the well-to-do people in the society to support boxing and invest in it.

I remain unbeatable. I shall continue to train hard until I achieve my aim. My focus is to win the WBA, WBO and IBF and bring honour to Ekiti and Nigeria.
