While flower arrangements are the essential part of creating the right ambiance for any occasion, for instance, your weddings, birthdays, parties and much more, it can also be used to spice up your homes, beautify your office spaces. Rather than walk into a flower shop to get one, you can carefully arrange the flowers yourself. Here are the basic rules to follow when designing a simple flower arrangement.

Method:

Pick out your fresh flowers from the garden. Trim the edge using your scissors at 45-degree angle. Cut out the weeds, thorns and excess leaves, and use your foam to clean out the dirt around your flowers. Pick out the vase, basket, bottle, you want to place your flowers in. Begin with a few small branches as your base for you to build your creativity into it. Let your arrangement flow by allowing the shape of the branches determines the shape of the flower arrangement. Place the large flowers at the center and the smaller ones at the edges. Try holding the flowers loosely in your hand, this allows you to make use of your imagination better. Allow your arrangement to be simple, don’t overload all the pretty flowers in one vase. View your arrangement on an eye level and fill in the holes. Use a flower foam or flower tape to keep the flowers intact.
