Packing Luggage   Have you ever packed so much for a trip only to realise that most of what you packed was not needed? Personally, I find it very frustrating to spend at least two days packing only to use a quarter of what I have packed for the journey. Packing light is a strange term for a woman especially on short travels. So, how best can you avoid carrying cumbersome items on your trip so you can travel easy and still stylish? 1. Pack one-piece outfits: With one-piece outfits such as dresses, rompers and jumpsuits you will save a lot of space in your small luggage and still pack enough to keep you in style. Avoid packing outfits that would require you wearing more than three pieces at a time. Those outfits take up space and aren’t necessarily stylish.   2. Buy travel-ready beauty products: We love our beauty products that is why where we keep them may be likened to a beauty shrine. For a week-long trip, avoid packing that shrine. Buy beauty products that are already travel-ready and have multiple uses. You can go for a small compact makeup product that has three major colours as eye shadow and get moisturizer that can double as a primer and a liquid foundation for your face. 3. Two pairs of shoes is enough: It is small luggage and you are packing light! I know it is difficult but two pairs of shoes is all you need. You should wear flats for the journey and pack the other pair of shoes which should most preferably be heels in your luggage. 4. For tops and bottoms, go for neutrals and nudes: If there is still a bit of space after you’ve packed the above three, you can fill up the luggage with a max of six tops and three bottoms. If you wish to play with colours, you should pick two tops and one bottom with warm and cool colours while the others should go in neutrals and nudes. These colours will keep you comfortable, cute and would work for whatever your plans are and could be when you get to your destination. 5. Roll them up: If you did not roll up your clothes, chances are you wondered where all the spaces went while you dumped your clothes into your luggage. Packing light requires that you maximize your luggage space by rolling up everything you are packing up. Roll them neatly and tightly to make your luggage light to carry. 6. Don’t get tempted to over pack: Get to know the duration of your stay and pack adequately for it. After rolling up all you need into your luggage and you find that there is still some more space, don’t fall for it. If you have packed the above, you have packed enough.
