Have you ever had that experience where you saw a post or video on Instagram that you really like and would want to go back to later and when you check back later but couldn’t find the post again? It had been overtaken by other posts.

Because of the cascading way pictures are stacked up on Instagram, it’s usually not very easy to locate earlier posts especially when you’re following a lot of people who are quite active.

Instagram has just introduced a way to keep track of posts with the new saved posts feature. You can now save posts you want to remember and be able to go back to them at your own convenience.

To save a post, there is a new bookmark icon under the posts in your feed. Tap the icon and the posts will be saved. Your saved posts will be on a private tab on your profile, visible to you alone.
