  The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) is receiving applications from Nigerians who want a place in its Young Engineers Program. Through this initiative, suitably qualified persons will learn various skills, sharpen existing ones, and gain insight into the working environment of one of the country’s top power distribution companies.

Persons who are selected to take part in the program will get a chance to kick-start their careers in the power sector and plot a path to success within that domain. They will be able to contribute to progress in process development and execution, and in service provision at the company. This program will last for 12 months.

Eligibility

The Ikeja Electric Young Engineers Program is open to persons who meet these criteria:
  • Must have graduated recently with at least a Second Class Lower Degree from a reputable university
  • Studied Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other power-related course
  • Completed the NYSC program before May 2024
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be passionate about power engineering
