Nigerian youngster, Kelechi Iheanacho was an unlikely hero for his club, Manchester City on Saturday when he came off the bench to score in the final minute and ensure City left Crystal Palace with the maximum points. Iheanacho, who made his City debut a fortnight ago against Watford, was brought on in the 89th minute for Ivorian striker, Wilfried Bony. The 18-year-old attacker made a swift impact, scoring the winner just a minute after his introduction – his first goal in the English Premier League. Iheanacho was on hand to poke home the ball from close range after Crystal Palace goalkeeper, Alex McCarthy could only parry Sami Nasri’s shot. The goal ensured City’s 100 percent record in the English Premier League this season is intact – with five wins out of five and five clean sheets. In another related news, Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo was the hero for his club on Saturday as he scored the winning goal for Watford FC. Ighalo, who recently signed a new five-year deal at the club, scored the only goal in the game against Swansea to earn his team, Watford their first win this season.
