The HudsonAlpha AgTech Accelerator capitalizes on HudsonAlpha’s profound expertise in agriscience, particularly in agriculture genomics, plant breeding, and crop diversity. Coupled with Gener8tor’s extensive national network of mentors and investors, and Huntsville’s burgeoning reputation as a technology hub, this program is uniquely positioned to support startups addressing the challenges of sustainably feeding and powering our planet’s growing population.

  • Selected teams will receive a $100,000 investment in exchange for 7.5% equity in their companies, utilizing a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE).
  • Weekly cohort programming covering essential topics such as market size analysis, revenue model selection, and effective investor pitching techniques.
  • Exclusive deals and perks from industry-leading vendors including IBM Cloud, Rackspace, Amazon, PayPal, Zendesk, Hubspot, and Microsoft.
  • Twelve weeks of personalized coaching and mentorship provided by the Gener8tor team through bi-weekly one-on-one meetings, as well as opportunities for individual meetings with over 100 connections comprising serial entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors.
  • Participants will integrate into the HudsonAlpha ecosystem and gain access to state-of-the-art facilities spread across the 152-acre biotech campus. Additionally, companies will have the chance to forge connections and collaborate with HudsonAlpha scientists.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applications are welcome from startups headquartered anywhere globally, innovating in any sector within agriculture.
  • Relocation to Huntsville, Alabama (USA), for the program’s duration is required.
  • Participation in person is mandatory for startups.
