Just like MTN and 9Mobile, Airtel also offers video streaming data packs to their customers. The Airtel SmartSPEEDOO YouTube Pack comes in several shades – day, night, weekly and monthly, and are very affordable for all. Compared to the MTN and 9Mobile, Airtel presents more flexible options for their subscribers. The plan comes in 3 distinct flavours:

YouTube Night Packs:

  • YouTube Night Weekly: costs N150 and is valid for 7 days between 1 am and 5 am at night. The plan is capped at 300MB. To activate, dial *323*22#.
  • YouTube Night Monthly: costs N200 and is valid for 7 days between 1 am and 5 am at night. Its capped at 600MB. To activate, dial *323*21#.

YouTube Weekly & Monthly Packs (All Day):

  • YouTube Weekly: costs N300 and last for 7 days. The plan can be used all day, and all night. The data cap is at 300MB. To activate, dial *323*12#.
  • YouTube Monthly: costs N400 and lasts for 7 days (all day and all night). It’s capped at 600MB. To activate, dial *323*11#.

YouTube Plus Packs:

The YouTube Plus pack gives subscribers free access to YouTube videos when they subscribe to any Airtel monthly data plan. The free streaming is valid between 1 am and 5 am. So, when you stream, only the YouTube data will be deducted, while normal browsing is deducted from your Android data.
  • YouTube Plus 1.0 @ N1000:(Android 1.5gb data + Free Night YouTube Browsing). To activate, dial *323*31#
  • YouTube Plus 2.0 @ N2000:(Android 3.5gb data + Free Night YouTube Browsing). To activate, dial *323*32#
  • YouTube Plus 2.5 @ N2500:(Android 5gb data + Free Night YouTube Browsing). To activate, dial *323*33#
  • YouTube Plus 3.0 @ N3500:(Android 7gb data + Free Night YouTube Browsing). To activate, dial *323*34#
  • YouTube Plus 4.0 @ N4000:(Android 9gb data + Free Night YouTube Browsing). To activate, dial *323*35#
The offer is available to all new and existing Airtel. The plan will be renewed on expiry, but you can cancel auto-renewal. Also, note that the data plan can be only be used to stream videos from YouTube. The plans are also not eligible for sharing, and does not support data rollover. To check your YouTube data balance, simply dial *140#
