It’s the largest public park in Abuja, commissioned in 2004 by Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II of England, and one of the best tourist destinations in Abuja covering a land area of about 32 hectares. The park has a lovely walkway with fountains and night lights plus a narrow river running through its center. A region of the park is dedicated to scientific knowledge of natural environment while another section consists of untouched nature and greenhouses for tropical birds and butterflies with a flair of  Italian garden layout as it was designed by an Italian architect Manfredi Nicoletti. Millennium Park is a decent spot for picnics and gives visitors the chance to enjoy the freshness of nature.
