Everyone has multiple sides; good, bad and ugly. People admire you because you have one quality or another that makes you glitter from a distance, but when they experience you for who you really are, it’s like a guy seeing his crush without make-up for the first time, there’s so much shock the relationship might not survive. We wear all kinds of make-up; corporate, religious, social etc. that hides our flaws and covers the distasteful part of our personalities. It’a true friend who would know us without our cover-ups and still be able to stand us.
If you have that one person, who does not judge you, even when they disagree with you, then you have been blessed with one of lives most valuable support systems.
