The beach soccer team of Spanish football club side, FC Barcelona, will play 3 of the biggest Nigerian clubs and Stationery Stores in a FC Barcelona Challenge at this year’s edition of Copa Lagos beach event.
Making the announcement today in Lagos, the organisers of the first ever international beach soccer event in Nigeria said the 4th edition will hold from the 12th to 14th December 2014 at the Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Super Sand Eagles will defend their title against some of the best beach soccer national teams in the world including Switzerland, Cote D’ivore and a final surprise team that will be announced later.
Copa Lagos has grown from just a sports event to a lifestyle event. Last year, the competition’s venue had side attraction such as fashion shows and music concerts.
