Etisalat Nigeria has been doing massive media campaign for iPad sales with added services in recent weeks. It is offering users beneficial services from its network for those that will purchase new and original iPads from its outlets. Going further in this direction, Etisalat has signed a deal with Apple – via a major distributor in Nigeria, Core Group Africa – for supply of the products.
Speaking on the new deal, the Executive Director of Core Group Africa, Rutger-Jan van Spaandonk, said that, “Offering a one-year data plan inclusive with the purchase of an iPad from authorised resellers is further testament to our commitment to establish an official reseller channel in Nigeria. It is important for Nigerians to have the assurance that when buying iPads from authorised resellers, they know it is the genuine article, warranty will be honoured and after-sales service will be provided”.
“In addition to data plan, customers also get one extra year of warranty when they purchase from AARs plus the general one year warranty on the device. There is no longer any reason not to buy from officially appointed resellers”
