Emeka Okafor is the founder and CEO of ConnectNigeria, Nigeria’s information portal. With over fifteen years of experience in strategic planning for web solutions, he runs ConnectNigeria.com, making it easy for Nigerians to find information on the website.
The portal provides the fastest, easiest, and most innovative way for you to find information about businesses, real estate, automobiles, jobs, events, travel, sports, entertainment, health, education, technology and lots more. ConnectNigeria is also the host of the annual Business Fair, a conference targeted at growing businesses. Businesses and brands across Nigeria use the platform to reach and engage hundreds of thousands of contacts for their target audience.
Emeka Okafor is a Nigerian who loves Nigeria. His passion for Nigeria led him to start up NextDaySite.com, a web development firm (from which ConnectNigeria and Platform Branding developed) in 1999 after he left his management position at GE (General Electric), a fortune 500 company. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, United States.
He will be speaking at this year’s ICTEL Expo, organised by the LCCI scheduled to take place from the 26th to 28th of July, 2016 at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event brings together the key players and aspiring ICT entrepreneurs and provides a platform for attendees to network and enrich their knowledge of the sector.
