Most water parks in Nigeria are an addendum to amusement parks. So don’t be surprised to see the name of a resort or an amusement park on our list. Here are some water parks you need to visit when in Nigeria during the dry season:
  • Park Vega Water Park – We do not call this international standard water park located in Agbor, Delta State, the largest in West Africa, for nothing. It holds multiple water sporting activities that make the splash worth it. From the slides to the wave pool to the water bar area, there is so much fun to be had here.
  • Omu Resort – This resort in Ibeju-Lekki (Bogije town), Lagos State, is known for its paintball arena, wax museum and amusement park. It also has a water park called Tide’s Wet and Wild. It’s a great place to splash around and kids will get a thrill out of being in this colourful, wet environment.
  • Splash Water Park – This water park is in Ikogosi, Ekiti State, on the outskirts of five states: Kogi, Edo, Oyo, Osun, and Ondo. Splash World Water Parks display an intriguing view of mighty mountains covered in natural vegetation with Lazy Rivers, Water Slides, Water Rides, raining Mushrooms, Children’s Water Playhouse in a quiet setting. The park has both indoor and outdoor food courts for appetizing finger-licking oriental bites, cocktails and grills with a great space to host events.

  • Dreamworld Africana – While this Amusement Park may not be the cream of the crop, it has a swimming area and water tunnel slides to make that big splash. It is along Lekki-Ajah Expressway Lagos, just after the 2nd Lekki toll gate. It is still one of the most popular water parks in Lagos because of its affordability.
  • Funtopia Leisure Resort – This resort is in Ibeju Lekki along Lekki-Epe Express Way, Lagos State. It is a water park with an in-pool bar, three giant slides and three interconnecting pools. It is an ideal hangout spot for children and adults.
  • Tinapa Business Resort – This resort in Calabar, Cross River State, has an amazing water park for leisure lovers. Just like Park Vega, it has a wave pool and water slides. It also has a standing wave surfing, lazy river slide, picnic area, children’s pool and play area. It is, however, haunted by tales of desertion.
  • Funderland Mall – This mall at Lekki- Epe Expressway has a Trotter and Pop Water Park. Compared to other water parks, this one has a private feel because of the small area it occupies. The park offers a pool and two slides for shoppers or their kids to relax or have a fun time.
There are still many more places in Nigeria with a semblance of a water park like the Hi-Impact Amusement park in Ibafo, Ogun State or Laquatic within Landmark Beach, in Lekki, Lagos State. Do you know of any other water park in your state that isn’t mentioned here? Tell us about it. • Thanks for your blog post. The things i would like to contribute is that computer system memory ought to be purchased should your computer still can’t cope with everything you do along with it. One can put in two good old ram boards containing 1GB each, as an example, but not certainly one of 1GB and one of 2GB. One should always check the maker’s documentation for one’s PC to ensure what type of memory space is required.
