The book ‘Americanah’ by Nigerian author, Chimamanda Adichie, has been named by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) as the 2013 Best Book.
Chimamanda Adichie, whose work recently got sampled on American R&B queen, Beyonce’s new album which hit the market few days ago and broke iTunes record and also went ahead to hit platinum status few days after release, claimed the number one spot on the list of BBC’s recently released top 10 books in 2013. ‘Americanah’ beat the likes of ‘The Good Nurse’ by Charles Graeber, ‘The Flamethrowers’ by Rachel Kushner and ‘The Good Nurse’ by Charles Graeber to grab the BBC’s 2013 Best Book’ number one position.You might also like:
