On Sunday, 17^th December 2017, President Mohammed Buhari celebrated his 75^th Birthday. The event which was a low key ceremony had well-wishers turn out in mass to surprise the president with birthday songs, cakes and cards. Among them is the Vice President Yemi Osibajo, Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, governors, ministers and many other dignitaries. The event took place at the official residence of the President at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The planned special birthday parade to be mounted by the Brigade of Guards as part of activities to mark President Muhammadu Buhari’s 75th birthday was earlier cancelled.
