The Dream-Catchers, an Ikorodu all kids dance group got a visit from the British supermodel, Naomi Campbell, on Easter day. The supermodel, singer, and actress who began her modeling career at 15, was in Lagos, Nigeria for the Arise Fashion Week. She was visibly elated, hugging and taking pictures and uploading on Instagram as she hung out with the dance crew who put up a beautiful performance for her at their Ikorodu house yesterday afternoon. She had earlier in the day gone shopping for things she thought the kids would love, and handed them to the children during the visit.
It would be recalled that the Dream Catchers’ dance crew became popular last month after their video was shared by Ms. Campbell, American singer Rihanna, and business mogul and singer P-Diddy on Instagram. The British Broadcasting Corporation also ran a mini-documentary on them. Naomi Campbell would be the first international celebrity to physically associate with the dance group of 10 street children.
