NPFL TV is a digital product of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL). The league Management company launched this app in a bid to enable viewers to watch league matches in real-time. NPFL TV was launched in December 2020. It has over 10,000 downloads on Google Play Store with a large base of its users abroad.

Meet The App

NPFL TV has a simple interface that lets users interact with its features with ease. There is a Live section that users can click to view live games. This feature, however, only permits the viewing of one live game per match day, usually on Sundays. To alleviate this problem, the app allows users to catch up with other games by clicking on the Videos section to watch full videos of other matches showing on the same day or watch older matches in the Library section. NPFL TV also has a Match section that displays the schedules of future matches in the Fixtures subsection and match results in the Results subsection. There is a Teams section that displays profiles of the teams in the NPFL by their positions on the league table, as well as their overall performance and current form. This information can be viewed in the Clubs subsection while the profile of players by ranking based on their performance can be viewed in the Players subsection. The final section, which is the News section, updates users on all they need to know about the league.

Pricing And Payment

NPFL TV offers a basic monthly subscription at N1,500 with the option of paying N200 per game. At the moment, the only acceptable means of payment is via a bank card. The developers are working on introducing more methods in the nearest future.

Getting The App

NPFL TV is available on Google Play Store at a size of 38MB. It requires android versions, from 4.4 and above. It is also available on the Apple App Store.
