The Governor of Lagos State, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has entered into an agreement with Buhler Group in Zurich, Switzerland, a global market leader in rice processing. This agricultural partnership has gained a 32 Tonnes per hour rice mill for the state.  The Governor led a team of the State Executive Committee members, this Friday for the signing ceremony. This is in line with the government vision of enhancing food security and creating employment in the state. For the Governor, it is a platform to partner with other south western states in order to achieve economic integration. A contribution towards his agenda of diversification of the nation’s economy and conservation of foreign nations’ reserve. According to the agreement, the partnership covers the maintenance, installation and technical support alongside the technical training of Nigerians in the Agricultural sector of the  Nigerian economy. The rice mill will be the single largest mill of its kind in Nigeria and we hope to see it delivered within twelve months.
