If you plan to be in Lagos this Easter, there are some amazing restaurants on Victoria Island you need to check out. These spots are ideal for fine dining and their ambiance and service are awesome. You will have your fill of taking pictures.
1. Oceans 5
It is popularly called Oceans 5 by Riviera and it is in the Riviera Hotel & Restaurant in VI. Besides meals, you can also get a range of cocktails, and chocolate milkshakes here too.
Address: Femi Pearse, 20 Elsie Femi Pearse St, Victoria Island, Lagos
2. Craft Gourmet
Its signature is Craft Gourmet by Lou Baker. The Mediterranean menu here is in a digital format, so you may need your device to scan the barcode for the options available. It is on the top floor of Mega Plaza in VI. It is an ideal spot for gluten-free seekers, vegans, and vegetarians.
Address: 14 Idowu Martins St, Victoria Island, Lagos
3. Noir Lagos
You can expect to get seafood and grill at this restaurant served with cocktails or great-tasting wines. It is great for an individual outing or a date or a group of 20 people. But mind you, it’s pricey. If you are going for a three-course meal, hold like N15,000 per person on average.
Address: 4a Akin Olugbade St, Victoria Island, Lagos
4. Ki Bar and Kitchen
This Asian restaurant, also called Ki Lagos, comes with tutorials on how to use chopsticks to eat. There are lots of options to choose from on the menu. But fear not, the waiter assigned to you is ready to help you make a choice. Also, don’t expect a serving of bread while waiting for the food; you’ll get peanuts (groundnut) here. The drinks are amazing but as pricey as the food. Hold N2,500 – 7,000 per glass of cocktail.
Address: 31a Oju Olobun Cl, Victoria Island, Lagos
5. Arabesque Restaurant and Lounge
This middle-eastern restaurant has Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisines on its menu. If you are on a special diet, e.g. Vegetarian, Vegan, or Halal, they have got you covered. It offers a serene garden patio and an Arabian night’s indoor seating area.
Address: 225 B Etim Inyang Cres, Victoria Island 106104, Lagos
6. The Side Bar by Miskay
This is the only spot on this list that isn’t on Victoria Island. The Side Bar, as the name implies, is just a bar just beside the Miskay Boutique which could be a story for another day. Their menu is digitized, so you need your device to scan a bar code and view the menu before you place an order. The portions are large, and the smoothies are great. You can request your meal packaged for you if you can’t finish it on the spot.
Address: 13 Emma Abimbola Cole, Off Fola Osibo Rd, Eti-Osa, Lekki
Remember, the word budget doesn’t mean cheap. So don’t come here expecting N1000 per meal. Their menu has food ranging from N3,000-N10,000 per meal and roughly N2,500 or more per drink. No matter how affordable the meals are, keep in mind that you will still pay VAT and consumption tax. So the total you may end up spending might differ from what you calculated from the menu. But if you plan towards what you want to spend, then these spots are just right.
