Yamarita is a delicious delicacy that has found its way to the Nigerian culinary scene in recent times. The dish is simply prepared by coating yam with flour and adding a variety of ingredients until it has a savoury taste. Interestingly, the idea for the dish came about as a way to keep yam soft and nice due to its tendency to become hard when it is cold.
