  If you run a business or initiative interested in leveraging technology for social impact, apply for the Next Generation Technology Internship Program. With support from the Ford Foundation, the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) is organizing the Next Generation Technology Internship program, which will run from August 2024 to January 2025 and is targeted at getting three interns from Nigeria and Ghana.

To be eligible for the program:

  1. The applicant must hold a minimum of a first degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related fields.
  2. The applicant must demonstrate commitment to WACSI’s vision and values.
  3. The applicant must prove strong technical, writing, and communication skills.
  4. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  5. You must know cloud computing tools.
  6. The applicant must have sound knowledge of digital marketing.
  7. The applicant must show confidence in the use and application of data analysis tools.
  8. You must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
  9. You must prove the ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a multi-cultural environment.
  10. The applicant must be willing to work as part of a team.
