  Applications are currently being accepted for the UNDP Timboktoo GreenTech Energy Accelerator Program. This program is focused on discovering, spotlighting, and supporting renewable energy technologies that deliver sustainable and accessible solutions. These technologies will reduce dependence on fossil fuels and improve energy security for communities in Africa.

Startups in renewable energy generation, storage, access, and efficiency are invited to apply for the GreenTech Energy Accelerator Program. Their work must contribute to the realization of UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). It should also be innovative and unique, be technically feasible, and have high scalability potential.

Eligibility

This program is open to growth stage enterprises that meet these criteria:
  • Startups should be nationals of an African country
  • Must be legally registered ad operating within Africa
  • Been in operation for at least 3 years
  • Must address development challenges
  • Should have a Minimum Viable Solution
  • Have a corporate governance system in place
