Just when honesty is hard to find, especially at the brink of economic recession, a young man returns a huge amount mistakenly sent to his account by Diamond Bank. The twitter user with handle @Rayenergy, claimed on his Twitter account that a company transferred seven million, three hundred and ten thousand naira to his Diamond Bank account and it wasn’t his hence he wanted it removed from his account immediately. This he made known on his Twitter account, even after 24 hours of the transaction been made. He expressed dissatisfaction with the occurrence and asked the bank official Twitter Account to follow him back in order to give them the account information for them to act on. When called by other twitter users, he assured them that it never occurred to him to keep the money as he has been taught to do the right thing even if it is hard. The bank has since responded and the details have been sorted out. Yet, comments have been following the tweet thread with diverse reactions to the action.
