  Applications are ongoing for the Aurora Tech Award for women founders of tech startups. Powered by inDrive, this award seeks to highlight excellent work done by women entrepreneurs leveraging contemporary technologies to solve pressing problems. It also aims to draw attention to the gaps in funding and support for women-owned ventures and help them with the push and publicity they need to achieve their goals.

Participants shortlisted in the Aurora Tech Award will get guidance from inDrive’s executives and industry experts, useful feedback from venture capitalists, media representation, and a safe space to expand their professional networks. Participants are known to multiply their business’s growth by up to 5 times within a year of taking part in the program.

This award offers cash prizes for the top 5 participants:
  • First Prize: $30,000
  • Second Prize: $20,000
  • Third Prize: $15,000
  • Fourth Prize: $10,000
  • Fifth Prize: $10,000

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet these criteria:
  • Founded or co-founded and led by a woman
  • Have a functional product prototype
  • Previous investment of $4 million, including seed round
  • The venture must be less than 5 years old
