  If you are a young entrepreneur who is seeking funding and other forms of support to grow your business, you may consider applying for a place in the Anzisha Prize Fellowship Program. If you’re adjudged one of the winners of the competition, you’ll get a share of the $200,000 on offer from the program’s organizers to enable you to build and expand your enterprise. That’s in addition to skills development and consulting support.

For more than 10 years, the Anzisha Fellowship Program has aided the emergence and flourishing of very young entrepreneurs in Africa through its competition. As has been the case with previous participants, winners will get help with building their businesses and will be tracked and supported for 3 years. They will receive cash stipends, short courses, cloud services, and useful advice from consultants.

Benefits

This program offers the following benefits to participants:
  • Fellows will get bi-annual cash stipends throughout the fellowship
  • Build capacity through educational opportunities, internships, and technical expert consultations
  • Win one of the following prizes: Job Creation Prize, Revenue Growth Prize, Storytelling Prize, and Integration Systems and Processes Prize
  • Get a share of over $140,000 in monetary rewards
  • Receive monthly coaching support from experienced venture partners
  • Take advantage of skill development opportunities

Eligibility

The Anzisha Prize Fellowship Program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
  • Should be between 15 and 22 years old, and have an ID document or passport that proves their age
  • Must be a national of an African country and run a business based somewhere on the continent
  • The business must already be functional, creating jobs, and having a positive impact on its target market and host community
  • Applicants must be one of the founding members of the business they represent
