Grants of up to €15,000 await successful recipients, empowering them to scale and expedite their civic-tech projects and endeavours. To qualify for funding, initiatives must align with the African Union’s Agenda 2063, the continent’s blueprint for inclusive and sustainable development. This call extends to local organizations and projects operating within African countries.
Benefits

Capacity Building: The Fund offers a tailored capacity support program to meet the unique needs of selected initiatives. Technical assistance, including workshops facilitated by experienced technologists and data scientists, operational guidance, masterclasses, and mentorship sessions, will be provided.
Eligibility
- African Organizations: Applicants must be organizations or initiatives registered or domiciled in any African Union Member State.
- Tech-driven Projects: Projects must be dedicated to leveraging digital technology for civic engagement, transparency, and community-driven development.
- Inclusivity: Initiatives should be led by and address the challenges faced by African women, youth, and marginalized groups.

Requirements
- Completed Application Form
- Company Registration Document (or that of a registered partner organization)
- Most Recent Organizational Report (or proof of activity in the last year)
- Budget and Financial Management Structure
- Sustainability Strategy
- Signed Letter of Recommendation
