Tech Tuesday: Innjoo Launches “Fire” Smartphone In Lagos

Chinese company, Innjoo publicly launched its Fire Series on 23 May at the Trinity Hall, Ikeja. Mr. Robert Liang, the company’s Managing Director, championed the event with many tech industry stakeholders present. According to Innjoo’s official website, the Fire Series offers users great value at a very cost-friendly price, compared to its similar counterparts. The smartphone possesses a 5-inch display, 2GB RAM, A QUAD Core processor, 5MP rear camera and a dual SIM capability. It also comes in a variety of colours – Classic Black, Elegant White, Luxury Gold and Natural Bamboo Yellow. The company Innjoo first emerged in the Nigerian market in May 2014 and has since sold a reported 1.2 million smartphones, as cited by Mr. Liang at the launch.  It is primarily based in Dubai and provides smartphones as well as software devices to its customers. Innjoo Fire will be available for sale, along with the Innjoo Max, during Jumia’s upcoming Mobile Megathon week scheduled to hold between 1^st and 7^th June, 2015. A great offer of  a 30% discount, 3GB of Data, free Whatsapp for 6 months and free music streaming for 1 month will also come with each Innjoo phone sold.
