The Super Eagles of Nigeria moved closer to securing a spot for the Brazil 2014 World Cup after it defeated the Flames of Malawi 2 – Nil in Calabar on Saturday. Forwards, Emmanuel Emenike and Victor Moses scored the two goals that secured the win for the Eagles. With this win, Nigeria heads to playoffs to secure a place amongst the five available spots for Africa in the biggest soccer event on earth. In the other Group F match, Kenya won Namibia 1 – 0 in Nairobi.
