The new channels to be included in the classic bouquet are EbonyLife TV, Fox, ST Kids and ST Nollywood. The inclusion of the four channels will improve content offered by the company to its subscribers in Nigeria as part of its objective of being a platform for premium, homegrown content for TV across Africa. Startimes has consistently improved on its services and content over the past years since the introduction of its digital terrestrial pay TV to Nigeria by The NTA Star TV Network Limited. It provides dedicated channels for News, Religion, movie, telenoveland sports enthusiasts. Earlier in the year, it announced the upgrade of its classic bouquet with additional channels including ST Movie Plus, ST Kung Fu, ST Novella Plus and Star Plus. This will mark the second upgrade made to the bouquet this year. Startimes is currently in a minimum of 30 countries across Africa including Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Guinea, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and South Africa. It has upwards of ten million subscribers in the continent, but it has its largest subscriber base in Nigeria; at least 4 million paying subscribers.
