Micheal Sani Amenesi (also known as MC Lively) is a Nigerian comedian, entertainer, actor, Nigerian Solicitor and advocate lawyer. He became famous after one of his comedy skits titled “Agidi” went viral on the Nigerian Internet space. Its central theme was fuel scarcity in Nigeria.
Born into the family of seven in Ile-Ife, Osun State, MC Lively is an indigene of Edo State. He was born on the 14th of August 1992. For his primary school education, he attended Ideal Nursery and Primary School and proceeded to complete his secondary school education at Moremi High School. Through his formidable academic successes, he graduated as a well-trained solicitor and Advocate of Nigeria from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife, Osun State. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in the year 2016.
As a kid, he often watched Night of a Thousand Laughs and it spiked his interest in Nigerian comedy. He started off his journey as a full-time MC in 2013 and added by 2015, he had already dabbled into comedy.
His journey to fame first started as an inspiration after hearing a preacher talk about the backwardness of things in Nigeria. While deliberating on the sermon, he wrote a comedy skit and titled it “Agidi” which means “Stubborn”. The skit was recorded immediately by his brother. “Agidi” gained a lot of likes and views within days and it catapulted MC Lively to stardom. He became a full-time professional comedian with most of his comedy expressing the situation of things in Nigeria. In his videos, he assumes the character of a frustrated lawyer who is looking for a job. He has performed with many other comedians like Akpororo, I Go Save, etc. He also acted in the 2020 comic movie titled “Fate of Alakada” as “Dele”.
