His work with artists such as Waje, Omawumi, Timi Dakolo, Banky W and others shows that he doesn’t follow the conventional trends that define modern day music but has created a niche for himself to better suit a particular audience. Cobams is definitely one of a kind in the music industry and is revered both at home and abroad for his unique sound. “Sess the problem kid” – this is the tagline you will hear in a lot of rapper Falz’s songs. This is because Sess has been responsible for the production of a large percentage of the rapper’s body of work. Interestingly he and Falz have an incredible chemistry when it comes to making music and perhaps this is due to the fact the duo are both lawyers who delved into music after being “called to bar”. Aside from his impressive work with Falz and other musicians, Sess has also worked on his own solo efforts such as “Bestest” featuring Vector, “Don’t Worry” with Spax and the most recent “Omo Muda” album.
