Adetola Anita Adetoye:

Adetola Anita Adetoye is the creative director of Anita Brows Beauty. The beauty entrepreneur had her first start with makeup as a hobby. Not habouring the thought of a make-up business in mind, she self-taught herself through YouTube and posted pictures of her work on social media. This, however, attracted potential customers who sought her service. Spending most of her childhood in Ireland, Adetola studied Journalism at Ballyfermont College, in Dublin; Media Production at Lewisham College, London and Marketing in Dublin Business School. She has a customer base for different occasions including wedding ceremonies, television commercials, photo shoots and many more. Omontese Akhethuamen

Omontese Akhethuamen ventured into the art of Make-up during her university days, after several people had noticed her well-arched eyebrows and blending eye-shadow. This was what made her begin her career in Make-Up Artistry and she honed her skills so well that it flourished into a business. In addition to her make-up skills, she is also skillful in the art of hairdressing and gele tying, which gives her an edge over others. She established BeautyCook Studio in 2005, as a one-stop centre for beauty matters. The brand specializes in hair, make-up, and beauty-products.

Lola Maja-Okojevoh

Lola Maja-Okojevoh is a Nigerian make-up artist who specializes in special effects, eyebrows and eyelashes. She started working as a make-up artist when she was 14 yesrs p;d, whilst still in high school. At the age of 18, Maja abandoned her plans for college and went on to focus on her make –up career, launching Iman Cosmetics in 1997. She also launched her own false lash range, “Sacred Ties” in – which was originally a provider of products for make-up students and other make-up artists in Nigeria but  later became a retailer of these products in boutiques and on the internet – 2010. Sacred Lashes has metamorphosed into “Sacred Group of Companies” which provides a wide range of services such as: editorial, catwalk, studio photography, television, film, music videos, and training. Maja has a wide range of skills in her portfolio ranging from special effects to bridal, and from beauty to creative fashion. She is known for her work in the ‘My Darlin’ music video by Tiwa Savage, whom she transformed into an old woman. She also worked with Genevieve Nnaji for the photoshoot of her clothing line, St. Genevieve. Other celebrities she has worked with include: Alek Wek, Dru Hill, Ernie Hudson, Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, and many more.

Nancy Blaq was founded by Nancy Chinalurum Ogbonna, a first class graduate of IT from the University of Greenwich, in Ghana. It was her passion for make-up artistry that made her start a makeup business. The Abia State–born beautician launched Nancy Blaq in 2014, which operates in Ghana. She is an award-winning celebrity make-up artist whose spectacular work has earned her several celebrity clients both from Ghana and Nigeria. They include Jackie Appiah, Becca, Yvonne Okoro , Dakore Egbuson, Ebube Nwagbo, Ice Prince, amongst others. She won the Best Celebrity makeup artist (2016 Ghana Makeup Awards) and Fashion Makeup Artist of the Year (2016 Afroma Awards) in September, 2016.

Elaine Shobanjo:

Elaine Shobanjo is the founder of Shomya Professional Beauty Services. Like many others, she decided to pursue her passion in makeup despite being armed with degrees from the world’s most prestigious institutions. Her passion for Makeup led her to quit her job as a wealth/asset manager and pursue a career in makeup artistry. Elaine’s star-studded clientele include the likes of Ini Edo, Tonto Dikeh, Waje and many more. The Shomya brand is known for its professionalism in the area of customer service.
