The VC4A Venture Showcase, as this program is known, aims to bring African companies within the pitching range of more than 200 Africa-focused investors. This effort carries on from the VC4A’s successes between 2017 and 2020, in which it held five showcase programs and enabled deals exceeding $150 million. Besides the chance to get funding, finalists also received technical advice from angel investors and VC fund managers. Now, VC4A is making the Venture Showcase a firm part of its operations, with intentions to connect more top-performing scale-ups with its global network of investors.
