Hope you’re ready and you have submitted your application for the Seedstars World Lagos 2016 Startup competition, because am looking forward to hearing your pitch. I know some of you would be wondering what I am talking about so let me explain… wait I remember I have written about this before so follow this link to get updated.
Now that you’ve finished reading let’s continue. Seedstars Lagos is here and the date is the 11th of August. At the event, the 10 best startups from Lagos will be invited to pitch in front of an investment panel and compete to be crowned the most promising seed-stage startup of Seedstars Lagos 2016.
Applications are still ongoing, for people to submit their pitches but will end on the 4th of August 2016. The event would hold at Seedspace Lagos, 23 Agodogba Avenue, Ikoyi Lagos.
Speakers at the event include Stephen King, Partner at Omidyar Network; Tayo Oviosi, Founder & CEO of Paga; Dr Omobola Johnson, Partner at TL Com Capital and Edgar KRA, Project Manager/Business Dev Orange. Highlights of the event include discussions, networking sessions and the pitch by the top 10 startups.
The winner will become part of the global Seedstars family and will also participate in the regional and global Seedstars Summit.
