Royal Philips has unveiled its first brand shop in Lagos, Nigeria. This move is part of its plan to expand consumer touch points. Royal Philips is a diversified health and well-being company, focused on improving people’s lives through meaningful innovation in the areas of healthcare, and consumer lifestyle. The company is a leader in cardiac care, acute care, home healthcare, energy efficient lighting solutions, new lighting applications, male shaving and grooming and oral healthcare. Speaking at the official launch, the General Manager, Personal Health West Africa, Mrs. Chioma Nweke stated that the brand shop would provide an exciting destination for consumers to interact with Philips’ products. She stated the fact that Philips is committed to touching 3 billion lives by 2020 through innovative products that matter to people. She added: “We are excited to unveil the first Philips brand shop in Africa where we can showcase these innovations and Nigerians can have full access to appliances that would help them achieve healthier lifestyles.” The brand shop is located at Road 2, Ikota Shopping Complex, Ajah Roundabout.
