The long wait is finally over! RIM will be launching its new flagship smartphone, The Blackberry 10, today in their new development center at Wavefront, Vancouver. The event will be hosted live simultaneously in the following cities- New York, Toronto, London, Paris, Dubai, Johannesburg, Jakarta and Delhi, and a series of phones also carrying the new blackberry OS (operating system) will be unveiled.
“This day will mark the official launch of its new platform — BlackBerry 10, as well as the unveiling of the first two BlackBerry 10 smartphones,” RIM said in a statement.
This phone is highly anticipated, and the release time is also very convenient. We believe it would be well available for purchase just in time for the Valentine season. This might be a game changer for RIM, as Nigerians, once a consistent market, have recently been veering towards the Apple and Android shores.
