In an effort to celebrate generosity towards societal development in Nigeria and on a global scale, the ongoing United Nations Foundation’s Giving Day 2015 is holdling on the first three Tuesdays of December – December 1st, 8th and 15th, 2015 in Lagos and Abuja. This includes the highly anticipated banquet and concert with star-studded performances which will take place tomorrow – Tuesday 8th. This year’s edition has been themed “Big War Against Cancer in Nigeria”, with discussions aimed at strategising means of taking holistic healthcare to the grassroots through the acquisition and deployment of Mobile Cancer Centres. His Excellency,  Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo has been slated as the official Giving Day 2015 national patron. The Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP-Nigeria) is an initiative of the Organized Private Sector (OPS) to create a vibrant social sector through private-public-social (tripartite) partnership.
