Tear drops, breaks the silence of the water Emotions lost between the waves of ripples My eyes don’t envy the beauty of my reflection My memories of nobody My heart an empty space Void and dark No footprint on the shores, no voices to trace Words I never said turned flat and cold Carry all my thought across a field of fear A walk on a lonely street of gold No stars at night to guide No nightingale to serenade Money, is only paper and ink The scriptures on my skin are tributaries to nowhere Where am I? Far from anywhere Love was once a place, had a smile, had a face Love was once a hand to hold, had a voice to cheer and an embrace to share Love was far but always close In pursuit for sunrise, Love became sunset Fragile, frail, a façade Bemused, tangled on a page of uncertainty Flipping the chapters of my life Lost amongst pages, hoping to find I’ll Love you when I find me
