announced a series of new updates for Mac,
iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2021 which took place between 7th and 11th June 2021. It was their second event this year, and it was jam-packed with exciting news and announcements for their teeming customers.

However, there weren’t any hardware announcements for the hardware part of the Apple ecosystem – all the updates were for software.
A variety of new features of iOS 15, including FaceTime Links, interactive Memories within Photos, keys and ID cards coming to Wallet, a new night mode for Apple Maps, Notifications Summary, Live Text, Focus, richer offline Siri support and more are listed below:

Same Cursor and Keyboard Across Macs and iPads
Apple’s next big Mac operating system release is called Monterey running on what is akin to the MacOS12. One new feature is the ability to use the same mouse and keyboard across your Mac and your iPad.
This update allows keyboard shortcuts and trackpad gestures on iPadOS such that users can now use a MacBook’s trackpad and keyboard to move across from a screen onto the display of the iPad next to it.

Music and Video Sharing Over Facetime
Spatial Audio with compatible AirPods and Watch Together will let users watch or listen to audio or video content with others virtually.
The Apple SharePlay feature is all about collaboration where multiple users can connect remotely and collaborate in a world of COVID-19 pandemic.

tvOS also allow you to share your screen. Apple is also introducing a SharePlay API so that other developers can build apps that support the feature.

Homescreen Widgets, Multitasking and Quick Notes
Apple has introduced improvements to the multitasking ability of iPads as it takes over features of laptops, to better customize your home screen with widgets, access the app library, and a quick notes app that works everywhere.
Siri can also accept requests while offline, share health data such as pulse rate and footsteps with family or healthcare providers. Other features include text digitisation in photos and the Apple wallet which has been touted to let users store their ID in digital form.
Another feature of the MacOS12 upgrade is Universal Control which accommodates drag-and-drop file sharing across multiple devices with a single action.

Conversation Boost
This is a software upgrade for users who have a hearing impairment to be able to more easily follow along in real-world conversations by helping reduce background noise and amplifying speech.
