Lights! Camera!! Action!!! Lagos, are you ready for the biggest fashion event of the year? The Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW) is about to kick off on the 25th – 28th of October 2017 at Eko Atlantic and we are super excited as we get to see fashion trends on another level. Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW) is an annual multi-day fashion show, that aims to drive the Nigerian fashion industry by bringing buyers together, consumers and the media to view the latest trends of African designs. The platform is also targeted at showcasing the best of the fashion and design industry cutting across geographic and cultural barriers. This year’s 7th edition is themed: “Africa, shaping fashion’s future.” It’s been said that the event will galvanize the entire African continent to be the global focus for creativity and commerce, from Lagos Nigeria. The fashion exhibition event features: Display of fashion products and accessories, textiles, design elements, photography and art installations, workshops and master classes that will ultimately facilitate knowledge transfer, information exchange and networking as gateways for more business opportunities, and most importantly the runway show which features new season collections from the best talents in the fashion industry. The significant part of the runway has to be the Models as they flaunt, showcase, and sell the clothes in a fascinating manner to the buyers and the media.  Nigerian models are fast becoming popular home and abroad in the fashion scene, plus thanks to HLFDW for being a stepping stone to pull out their talents.
