Media industry magnate, Mo Abudu has received tremendous recognition at the British Film Institute’s London Film Festival for her newly produced film, Fifty. The production was shortlisted at the highly prestigious festival’s Love Category this month. Directed by Biyi Bandele (Half of a Yellow Sun), Fifty is set in the busy metropolis of Lagos and explores the various complexities of life there for its residents through the lenses of five women. The star-studded cast includes the talented Nse Ikpe Etim, Ireti Doyle, Dakore Egbuson and Omoni Oboli. The BFI London Film Festival showcases a diverse selection of films from the United Kingdom and other countries around the world. Fifty is set to premiere first in London on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Vue 7 Cinema. The Lagos premiere will follow suit on December 13, 2015 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island.     Source: The Guardian
